The award was presented during the Hillsborough County Urban League’s 2024 Gala with a theme of “Roaring Twenties.” This gala recognized and awarded local trailblazers and community leaders.

With a deep-rooted history of serving historically underserved urban communities, the Urban League’s mission is to empower individuals and families through education, advocacy, and economic development.
